Kg Ayer (Water Villages) Photo
Brunei Kg. Ayer is the World's largest water village, it was described by Europeans as Venice of the East. Traditional houses is built along the river side and houses are connected by wooden pathways. Antique dealers can be found on this village and most of the locally made products of Brunei are among the villagers source of industry. Water taxi service is one of the villagers occupation. It has its own market, schools, mosque, clinics, police and fire stations.
Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien Mosque PhotoBuilt in 1958, it is the world's most elegant mosque built with finest and elegant materials. It was named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei.
