Kg Ayer (Water Villages) Photo

Brunei Kg. Ayer is the World's largest water village, it was described by Europeans as Venice of the East. Traditional houses is built along the river side and houses are connected by wooden pathways.

Antique dealers can be found on this village and most of the locally made products of Brunei are among the villagers source of industry. Water taxi service is one of the villagers occupation. It has its own market, schools, mosque, clinics, police and fire stations.

Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien Mosque Photo

Built in 1958, it is the world's most elegant mosque built with finest and elegant materials. It was named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei. Beside the mosque, it has a royal barge or " mahligai" where religious ceremonies or reading were held in 1960s to 1970s.

Royal Regalia Building

It was built in memory of the Sultans ascension to the throne in 1992. It is a house with collection of Royal Regalia such as the Royal Chariot, armoury in silver and gold and the golden crowns.

Istana Nurul Iman Palace

Temburong National Park

A tropical jungle safari in Brunei. Occupies an about 50,000 hectares of Batu Apoi Forest Reserve. It has a 7 Km wooden canopy walkaways that protects the park vegetation and soil erosion.

Merimbun Heritage Park

Largest blackwater lake in the country and has been declared as one of the ASEAN National Heritage sites.

Tasek Lama Recreational Park

Rainforest park located in Bandar area. It has waterfall, lake and a wall for climbers.

Anduki Jubilee Recreational Park

To commemorate the Sultan, His Majesty sultan Bolkiah's Silver Jubilee Year sponsored by Brunei Shell Petroleum. It was open in 1992 with blue lagoon ideal for family outings and picnic gatherings.

Traditional display of treasures and artifacts. It has a collection of Borneo Ethnography, National History and displays of Islamic Art.

Malay Technology Museum

Collection of memoribilias in relations with the Royal Dutch Company/Shell Group to the citizen of Brunei. Displays of traditonal houses and early ways of living among the locals.

Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex Photo

The Yayasan Complex is a project of for the foundation dedicated to the welfare of Bruneian people. It is one of the most popular shopping venues in Brunei built with polish marble around the area.

Billionth Barrel Monument

Commissioned by Bunei Shell Petroleum, this monument commemorates the production of billion barell of Soil in Seria oil district.

Oil and Gas Discovery Centre
