National Day Celebration
- celebrated every 23rd of February every year. This
is regularly attended by His Majesty the Sultan and the members
of the Royal Brunei Family. With performance show, the whole citizens
of Brunei gathered for this event.
Awal Rahmadan
- It is a holy period among Muslims all over the world.
Muslim community observes fasting during this holy month.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri
- This celebration is after the closing of the fasting
month.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate by visiting each
other's houses and as well as by giving some gifts.
Other non-muslim community are also welcome on this
feast. Locals and Foreign visitors are all welcome to visit the
Royal palace, Istana Nurul Iman and have an opportunity to greet
the Royal family while foods and gifts are free to give for everyone.
His Majesty's Birthday
- Celebrated every 15th of July, this is a festival
honoring the birthday of Sultan of Brunei. There is a celebration
at certain parks in Brunei where foreign entertainers are invited
to perform and entertain the Bruneians. There are sales of goods
in most of the business establishements in Brunei too plus a large
fireworks display held at night.
